Live Edge Pecky Cypress Mantle Slab

Description

Live Edge Pecky cypress slabs are pieces of wood cut from the trunk of the pecky cypress tree. The distinctive feature of these slabs is the presence of “pecky” pockets or voids caused by a fungal infection. These pockets create unique patterns and textures, ranging from small, scattered holes to larger, more pronounced voids.

Finishing Options Information

No Work
The slab will not have any finish work done to it and will be shipped in the raw form.

Flatten Both Sides
This option gets your slab(s) flattened on both sides and will include Joint & Glue-up if the item is a Table Top with 2 or more slabs in it. If you DO NOT want this step done, please add “do not glue together” in your order notes. These products usually have a straight edge and are pictured with the current edges together to display a table top. Flattening is done on our CNC machine, and will give you a level surface on both sides. Any taper or warping listing in the item description will cause the thickness of the slab to be reduced by that amount listed for each side.

Bark Removal
If you select a slab that has full or partial bark left on, you may add a bark removal charge to your order to remove it. Please make note of this in the notes/comments box before you check out. This will need to be priced separately depending on how much bark needs removed.
